2026 Leland Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $350 and Laptop computer
Description:
The Leland Palomares Scholarship was created to help students obtain a college degree. Scholarships are available to 2026 Graduating High School Seniors. Applicants must plan to enroll in a Full-Time accredited, not-for-profit, college or university, during the FALL of 2026. The finalists this year may be invited to a short interview or video chat.
Important Dates for scholarship award:
Deadline to apply: May 1st 2026
Selection decisions: May 23rd 2026
Award Distribution: July 28th - August 1st (upon verification of enrollment)

- Parent's Highest Education Level:
- Check box confirm: application authored by named applicant, no AI assistance or plagiarized
- Check box that the Leland Palomares Foundation Inc has the right to publish material for fundraising and informational purposes.
2. Answer the following essay question:
- What does going to college mean to you?
- Essay must be no more than 1 page
- Strong consideration is given to students that hand-write the essay

Important update: Additional scholarship will be awarded for (1) student majoring in Physical Therapy, Kinesiology or Exercise Sciences.
